Beeswax Candle Decoration Workshop at Poplar Union

We’re excited to be joining the Culture Connector Artists’ Apothecary community, where we’ll be meeting you at Poplar Union on 1st February, alongside new collaborations and creative experiences.

To mark this, Peach & Peony is hosting a Beeswax Candle Decoration Workshop, a short, joyful, and hands-on creative experience designed to help you slow down, connect, and create with intention.

What the Workshop Is About

This 30-minute workshop offers a gentle introduction to the history of candle-making and the candle-making process, before inviting you to take part in the final and most personal step: decorating.

This workshop is a chance to explore spring scents, experiment with decoration, and personalise a beeswax candle by Peach & Peony in a calm, creative setting. Using our selection of petals and decorative elements, you’ll decorate your candle in a relaxed and welcoming environment. No previous experience is needed.

At the end of the session, you’ll take home the candle you’ve decorated, a meaningful keepsake or a thoughtful gift.

Tea & Coffee

Tea (£2.50) or coffee (£4.00) can be pre-booked for the workshop. If you have any specific requirements, including allergies or preferences for tea or coffee, please let us know in advance.

Poplar Union is also located next to E5 Poplar Bakehouse, making it easy to enjoy a relaxed moment before or after the workshop.
